No, it's not a typo. The latest creation from Evil Bikes really is a 161mm travel, Carbon Fibre, 29er dream machine and it's ready to blows the doors off convention and lead the way for a new breed of big wheeled, longer travel trail/enduro bikes which ride like nothing you've ever dreamed of. We're not 100% sure who left the Following and an Insurgent alone together or who set-up the Tinder date, but the latest bike from Evil brings together the best DNA from two of the most progressive and popular bikes of the season to give riders something new and exciting to really get their pulses racing.
Based around a one-piece Carbon Fibre heart, the Wreckoning is all about performance and makes full use of Dave Weagle's high performance D.E.L.T.A Link suspension system to give 161mm of active rear travel and amazing trail performance. Starting off with fresh suspension kinematics and a Rock Shox Monarch Plus Debonair rear shock the Wreckoning's suspension has been designed to be active, yet offer great support for a phenomenal pedalling performance and high-level of traction on the trail. Evil know that their latest baby may never win any uphill races or take an Olympic XC gold medal but that wasn't what it was created to do. Thanks to a 66 degree head angle and longer wheelbase, you can really open the bike up on the downhills and make use of its high-level of stability to set new PB's and ride whichever line you see fit thanks to pin-point accurate handling and over 160mm of travel at each end.
In it's most simple form...you need to ride a Wreckoning.
